First Edition First edition. iv + 310 pp. in original gilt lettered cloth which is faded. Spine is split and torn with some small loss at top. Wear at the edges. Endpapers browned, and very minor patches of foxing internally, otherwise clean. A good copy.

First Edition 337pp. a couple of the extreme fore-edges are a little foxed, the spine is a bit bumped and crinkly, and the spine is ever so slightly rolled, but it's still a nice copy. Handsome text on cover
