Cloth rubbed, grubby & in need of resewing & recasing, The book is an extremely early issue in that whereas the publishers address is given as 11 Quay Street, the rear pastedown is an advert for the book Prince Prigio which will appear in October. The Bristol Library titles run to number 47. Printed in Late 1889. ~ Classic tale which everyone seems to know but few have read. 'A medley of buffoonery and droll musings on familiar things' . The authors middle name was Klapka.
